Our teachers are dedicated professionals who strive to provide the very best for your child. To ensure meaningful and focused conversations, we kindly ask that you make an appointment if you wish to speak with your child's teacher.

QParents
We use QParents, a secure online portal provided by the Queensland Department of Education, to help families stay connected with their child's schooling.
If you need assistance registering, our Administration Team is happy to help.
Through QParents, you can:

- 📊 Access report cards and academic results
- 📝 Update your contact and student details
- 📚 Stay informed and provide consent for school activities
Class Dojo
Class Dojo is our primary platform for day-to-day communication. Through this app, families receive updates, reminders, and celebrations of student learning.
Each class has its own page where teachers share photos, videos, and important information in a secure environment. Our Principal also posts a weekly update to keep families informed about school events and activities.
Parent Meet and Greet
At the beginning of each school year, we host a welcome BBQ where parents and carers can meet their child's teacher and learn about classroom routines, curriculum, and expectations.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our welcoming school community.
Reporting
We provide regular opportunities for families to engage in their child's learning progress:
Term 2 and Term 4 – Parent/Carer Interviews (oral)
Interviews are held early in Terms 2 and 4 and are an important part of building strong home-school partnerships. Bookings are made online via SOBS, with details shared when available.
Semester 1 and Semester 2 – Written Reports
Written reports are issued at the end of each semester in line with departmental guidelines and are available through QParents.
Additional Communication
Classroom Notes
Notes may be sent home throughout the year regarding specific events or information. Please encourage your child to share these with you.
Email
Parents are provided with their child's teacher's email address. Teachers aim to respond within two working days.
For urgent matters, please contact the school office.

Assemblies
Families are warmly invited to attend school assemblies. Dates and times are shared via ClassDojo.
Sharing Important Information
We recognise that events in family life such as illness, family changes, or loss can impact a child's wellbeing and behaviour at school. If there is anything significant happening at home, we encourage you to share this with your child's teacher so we can provide the best possible support.
